Another great sign for the BRRHT is that all of the ticket sales for the opening day on May 17th are sold out. There are three trains that day, so that is great news.

I just drove.through three bridges and noticed someone spray painted all oved 8159
. I hope they didn't do anymore then cosmetic damage. Maybe it would be good to keep it in the gate at the propane place or at ringoes.

Of course, the 1965 ticket pricing for the 50th anniversary of the BR&W operation didn't hurt the sales. Looking forward to a fine 50th year of operation!!

This doesn't appear to be entirely true-- me and my buddy both just acquired 6 tickets between the two of us (bringing along the kids of course) for the 11:30 AM departure on Sunday 5/17. So perhaps more tickets/seats were added over the weekend?

Really looking forward to being on the first train of the 2015 season behind #60! Thanks guys!

They must've added another car or least added more seats. I did see the last excursion is sold out, but I did get a pair of tickets for the first run of the day.

Just finished riding the 2:30 easter bunny express. Another great job by the brrht. Train was pretty crowded and everyone was enjoying themselves. Saw the former bemis sidings still empty any chance.to them becoming A customer.

I rode by Three Bridges yesterday...here are a few photos...note the similarity in graffiti style between the truck and the locomotive.

Two other photos...one of the ROW/small yard, and one of a B&DR box car. I am guessing that the old B&DR boxcar is used as a spacer car, but don't know. If you know what it is for, please let me know.

Thanks! I was conductor today on the sold-out 1965 throwback pricing trains today and everyone had a safe and enjoyable time!

PRRLLC has painted LV #112 into a Heritage Scheme to honor BR&W's 50th Anniversary. LV #112 is now BR&W #400. The original SW-1 #400 was the 2nd #400 on the BR&W. It was owned by Sam Freeman, who also owned ex-FEC Pacific #148 while it was on the BR&W in the 1970's. #400:2 was the primary freight engine before the Railroad purchased its fleet of Alco's in the late 70's.

LV #112 will be painted back to LV colors after this season.
