Stadler Flirt EMU trains really aren't HSR. A top speed of 200 kph is around 124 mph. Do we consider Amfleet I speeds HSR? Additionally, the speed of the derailment was around 100 kph, or 62 mph. That's not even at the max US Class IV passenger train speeds. I suggest looking at the track....
