Need some help. A business associate of mine is considering purchasing two ex LIRR coaches. I believe these were last used on deisel powered trains and some may have been converted into parlor cars.

Can anyone give me source for diagrams for these cars?

Thks in advance

I assume you're referring to the Pullman-Standard P72 coaches built in the '50s.

Although I wasn't able to find anything like that on the net, I know the Railroad Museum of Long Island is working on restoring one of those, if anyone would have schematics for them, it would be someone there. See who you can contact at www.rmli.org

Hope that helps.

Didn't one of the model mags publish something back when...80's?, 70"s? Late 60's? RMC or MRR.
