I was surprised to see two announcements posted at Wantagh, namely that too many wheelchair symbols appear on some timetables.
Hunterspoint Avenue is not whelchair accessible. (Imagine bouncing down those stairs. Ouch.)
The Babylon Branch Timetable erroneously shows wheelchair access at Lindenhurst, Copiage, Amityville, Massapequa Park, Seaford, Wantagh, and Hunterspoint Avenue.
Bad knees tell us the advantage of elevators. We leave from Wantagh, except when the escalator is out-of-service (as now). Returning, I meet the party at the Bellmore elevator. A good investment for mobility.

Today I noticed that the Babylon Branch timetables have been reprinted without the erroneous wheelchair symbols. On the front, the reprint is marked "*Reprinted 3/06." On the lower back, the timetable is designated "Form 7 - TPSS-1 Rev."
