Photo of what looks like a pair of Arrow IIIs in MARC service!: http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPi ... id=1655224

I know this isn't my photo, but I honestly couldn't pass up the opportunity to share this, having never seen a photo of MARC EMU equipment before and not even knowing MARC ever operated EMUs. I did know, however that MARC used to operate (not very environmentally friendly) DMU's on the two diesel-only lines:

Those are NJDOT Arrow IIs. You can see the old NJDOT logos on the sides, even if they're a little blurry. During the days of Conrail operating the Penn Line, as well as other NEC services, stuff got moved around often, and these cars, despite being owned by NJ, got used down there as well.

They are actually Arrow 3s see the 2 vents above the handy cap door and the single middle vent on the front of the train. Also note the Stemmann pantograph the Arrow 2s did not get these pantographs till their last few years of service with NJT.

You're certainly right. Then again, so was I, you just couldn't tell because of the typo I made accidentally cutting off one of the "I"s from the roman numeral.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I believe these dmu's (which were sitting brunswick) are now sitting at the maintenance shed of the B&O museum, I walk my dogs there everyday, so i'll snag a photo of them later.
