Unfortunately in this case, the neighbors did complain, the pictures of the cars made an appearance in at least one newspaper (Suffolk Life), and they stayed for well over a couple of weeks.

I know when the LIRR was retiring some of the older equipment in the 1970's , some were brought out there as well.

Yes, the neighbors took exception to the miscreats who were found living in the cars and I suppose AH isn't such an out-of-the-way place anymore.

Oh well, there are a few other remote spots left for hiding cars.

the best part was, I saw the cars out there before I saw a note on here about it... they sure did look odd sitting out there. I know they were pulled by MP15s, but seeing electric trains that far east looked odd to say the least.
