M&D track washout

I spent some time last week wandering around the Eastern shore. There was Federalsburg no activity, none in Seaford. I did note that a large washout has broken the line between Hurlock and Federalsburg, repairs are in process. The break is at a culvert with a depth of 25” and is in process of repair.

Railroad tracks were undermined on the Norfork Southern line at Craigs Mill Pond in Seaford as seen here and here.
