The CAF Viewliners were delivered from Elmira Heights in the reintroduced phase III.

Diner 8400 was overhauled and returned to service in 2011 (as part of the Recovery Act/Stimulus) and
was in phase IV, and later redone as phase III to match the Viewliners at CAF. The three Viewliner prototypes
(two sleepers in 1987 and diner 8400 in 1988) were originally phase III.

All AEM7s were phase III.
