Hi Steve,

The LIRR GP38-2's not leased to NY&A are all operating as LLPX (Locomotive Leasing Partners) leasing units. 264 is currently painted in a copyoff of a UP paint scheme, numbered 2244.

I can't find a picture of 264, but here's a shot of 259 as 2248.

Traffic on lighter weight restricted branch lines. Six axle power is limited on certain bridges and curves.
Could be a LIRR fan club in CNR management?

Maybe they will clean off the rust and repaint it (first time in several decades). PTC? Overhaul?

Only problem I remember from back then - on an EB PJ train, engineer's seat broke off it's rusted through pedestal. They were built tough enough to overcome LIRR's 'maintenance'.
