At Metro-North, in the event someone misplaces their Ticket Issuing Machine, a police report is filed with the MTA police and it is submitted to Passenger Revenue Accounting for insurance purposes. In the event the machine is unfounded, a new machine will be issued at no cost to the employee. I wonder if the same protocol will be adopted with the LIRR.

Willie the raise is not specificaly the TVM equipment. It is for them to use the Smartphone. All train service employees are receiving a raise, including those that arent in the ticket servicing end of train service. This president is impressed with train services' commitment to the railroad, cooperation for projects and their contribution to our on time performance. the previous president felt the same way. Willie trainservice have alot of responsibility and the railroad wanted to find something to justify a higher salary. There is more to come in the future. The HOS app is a good idea and now they wont be inconvenienced to have to walk to a trainmens room to use the desktop computers.

Engineers still have many more penalty claims than conductors so they make more at the end of the week than we do. A full days pay for working outside switching limits as opposed to half a day, comingles, time on time, and a full day for a yard move instead of 4 hours are just a few.
