A blue and white MP15 went east and west light through Smithtown yesterday around 11am and 1pm. Anyone know why?

It better stay away from freight yards. They have cars that occasionally display signs that say "do not hump!"

O.K...I can't resist.
The Mechanical Coupling Alignment pins on the M-1, M-3, M-7 have the nickname of "Bull's Pr*** [male appendage]". (The M-7's is even bigger girth than M-1/M-3 :P :P :P ).
When there is a defect with that particular part, some mechanics write the nickname on the defect sheet, without thinking. The defects are ultimately transposed into the RSMS system by clerks, who are sometimes female.
This invariably ends up in a blistering phone call to the shop.

Or . . . .

Send it thru the car-washing machine for a "cold shower!"
