The line is to see a possible 20,000 tonnes of zinc concentrate shipped from Flin Flon to Churchill. The origin is Snow Lake which a long time ago had a branch beginning at Optic Lake, but now the ore is trucked 190km to Flin Flon and concentrated there. The smelter in Flin Flon is no longer in operation.
