Does anybody out there have a copy of this timetable in their collection? I'm specifically looking for General Order 1728 or 1729 which are dated either May 23, 1950 or May 28, 1950. This G.O. "officially" removes the portion of the Rockaway Beach Branch over the bay from service. The problem is, my notes say G.O. 1728 (dated 5/23/1950) but the xerox I have of the track diagram from the G.O. is written G.O. 1729 and is dated 5/28/1950.

I don't have an ETT from 1949, however . . . .

I would definitely go with the printed number and date on the track diagram vs your notes.

Every track diagram I have ever seen in a G.O. always matches up with the G.O. description in number and date.

You probably just jotted something down incorrectly. The printed form shouldn't be wrong.

Hi Dave,

Uh, I should've mentioned that the date on the diagram was hand written by your's truly. ;-)

Back to square one!

oops . . . .

That's a "whole-nother" situation!

Toss a coin, or e-mail Art Huneke. :-)

If you need his e-mail address, let me know and I'll e-mail it to you direct.
