A friend of mine found an article that showcases experimental nose variations that the LIRR applied to the front of their GP38s in the late 70s/early 80s for better visibility. Since I wasn't aware of these experimental liveries until now, I would like to request that this photo should be added to the trainsarefun website, either under the page for GP38 or Odds and Ends. Also, does anyone happen to know if similar little known nose variations were applied to other engines/MUs for increased visibility around this time, other than the yellow front M1/M3s?
