Dose anybody know if conductors at csx can use one of the rco pelican lights instead of the standard lanterns

My yard is RCO and the rule is if you are running a conventional crew, whether it be road, local, or yard, conductors have to use the lanterns. I'm not sure if this is system wide or just special instructions. The new LED lanterns are even brighter than the RCO lights so its not a big deal now.
