First Shots of 5000s Testing

Today (4/19), and continuing for the next four weeks through Friday 5/14, the 5000s will be in revenue service testing on the Red line. For those that want a closer look (and/or ride), here are the runs these cars will be assigned to:


Southbound – Leaving Howard

Any idea roughly how long it takes a red train to get to Fullerton or Armitage from Howard?

According to the Red Line scedule, it should be ~ 25 minutes from Howard to Fullerton during "normal" hours.

I read in a recent newspaper article that beginning tomorrow, May 16, the 5000's would run for 4 weeks on the Green Line. Can anyone post a schedule for these test revenue runs like was done for the Red line a month ago? I'll be in the city this week and would love to see them and maybe catch a ride.
