I've looked around at different rosters and registers, and the problem here is that I don't know the original number series for the cars. I'm sure you'll know them-- they're the late MU trailers with the end windows and low clerestories, and have been distributed to almost every scenic railroad there is. They were built in the mid-1920s, I think? 4 axle, lightweight, riveted carbody, and commuter seats.

My question is, what is the coupler-to-coupler length, and the approximate weight? Also, what was the seating capacity? 60? Type of brake equipment?

Thanks,
- Toby

Toby -

Most if not all of what you're looking for can be found on George Ellwood's excellent site....here's a particular link:

http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/el/mu/mu.html

Additional MU info/specs/drawings can also be found by just snooping around over there.
