When Amott Interlocking was relocated west on May 19, 1986 did that coincide with placing the new computer workstation into service?

Also, did the workstation completely take over the control of Hunt Locations 1, 2 and 3 this same weekend? I think it did but I'm not sure.

In my handwritten notes I show that on August 13, 1988 (over two years later) the US&S Traffic Control Center push-button machine was still controlling Duke, Fox and Post Interlockings.

I started listening to LIRR and Divide Tower via scanner circa 1990. At that time they were still using the model-board. It wasn't 'til a couple of years later that I started hearing their op's talking about the computer. Seemed like the changeover was quite a big deal at the time. :-D

Hi Head End,

I suspect that the computer didn't take over Duke, Fox and Post until Stony and Jeff went live.

Just guessing now, though....
