It may be a little humid, but not too hot as temperatures are nearing 80 today. So, why is CSX already issue heat orders so soon?

It seems to me CSX likes slow, but I like fast. I hate in when they constanly make VRE trains go so slowly. I think CSX is a little over protected/

David, when I was an engineer for Septa, Septa has heat order speed restrictions in effect, and when they run up to West trenton a portion of that is on CSX and the heat restrictions really slows that line down. I wouldnt say that its not that warm to even put that restrictions in

I got the email alert and was wondering about it too. There must have been something special going on since it's only when temps. hit 90F or when they jump by 30 degrees they put the restrictions in effect. The first set of restrictions was way back in Feb or early March, when the temp. shot up from like the 40's overnight to the 80's the next day.
