Wow, then they just took what was on the rails & headed east. The crews had a terrible time getting the one centerbeam (the one leaning in the photo below) back on the rails, and it's probably still partially off the rails. There will be a follow-up train down the Southern sometime in the next few days. I didn't speak to anyone at the scene (everyone was extremely busy), but my on-site view & theory goes like this....empties pulled OK, 9 loads spotted on the east track OK, then things go way wrong. It seems that on the shove back to spot the remaining loads something happened at the switch on the main, and I believe 4 cars went on the ground (maybe 3, but I think 4). Right now, the empties are on the main ok, and probably the one loaded centerbeam is still in bad shape on the main, just east of the switch, and one loaded centerbeam is on the lead just west of the switch, but with 'only' one axle on the ground. Much cleanup to do.........
