Charter train today upper Harlem Line

Silo Ridge Private Charter Train will operate with the following consist: Engine 208, 8000763, 6367, 6219. Engine 129 will depart Brewster and arrive at Wassaic in advance of Charter Train. After Charter Train discharges its passengers, Engine 129 tie on to the Charter Train and tow it to Brewster Yard to be wyed and return to Wassaic for the return trip.

Not sure on times but anyone wanna go railfan enjoy but do it safely!

The train was reported headed southbound by Kotonah half hour ago tonight.

Anyone know where the car is going after the escursion? Gennie was facing south so maybe Harmon?

129, 208, and a few bomb coaches were in the east yard in GCT tonight awaiting a crew to head back to Brewster. Private car was nowhere to be found I'd say maybe PMMO grabbed it for interchange?

You transposed two digits in the car number, so you looked up the wrong car.

800736 is in fact 10&6 sleeper BIRCH GROVE owned by the Cincinnati Railway Company. It was at home in Cincinnati on the day of the special train.

800763 is lounge/table car BIRKEN, which was leased from M&E Railway for use on the special train. The car owner said the Metro North special train to Wassaic and return was operated on behalf of a real estate development enterprise.

Although my reply is very late, I'd suggest it had more to do with the fact that generally speaking PV's aren't "push-pull" unless someone buys a Metroliner set.

Darn I know they are slow down south, but almost a year ??
