Charlotte Trolley resumes operation

Charlotte's heritage-trolley operation started running again on Sunday after a two-year break for construction of the Lynx light rail line. Original Charlotte car #85 made the ceremonial first trip, but will not run in regular service because it's been deemed unsafe for mixed operation with Lynx trains. Instead, the Gomaco replica trolleys #91-93 will cover the service.
