CATSKILL MOUNTAIN RAILROAD (CMRR) DISCUSSION - 2023

The CMRR's permit was extended unanimously by the Ulster County legislature for another 5 years through 12/31/28.

The CMRR received the Tourism Business of the Year Award in August from the UC Chamber of Commerce.

We had ridership this year of over 51,000 a record for the CMRR.

We also leased a five-acre site east of Basin Road including 1000 feet of track for our new terminal there.

We expect to have our extension to Basin Road approved by the UC Legislature in 2024.

Ernie, congrats to all involved! Sounds like great news and great progress. No doubt a lot of time and effort went into that, pats on the back to those who helped make it happen.
