Was Pavonia Station the only train station in Camden??? If not, did they have a station in downtown Camden and does the Walter Rand Transportation Center take the former station's place. Does anybody have any pictures to verify the proof that there was a train station in downtown Camden? Just want to know.

Pavonia station was gone by the 1940s as was the Haddon Avenue stop. The two stations in Camden were primarily Broadway and the Ferry Terminal. There are a multitude of pictures available in books about the P-RSL.

The only other stop that I can recall was at Yorkship, for the workers at New York Shipbuilding.

There was also the PRSL station, and it may have been the last station in use before PATCO, which was on Federal Street near where it interesected with US Route 30 a quarter mile southwest of the River Road crossing of the tracks coming from Pavonia Yard.

The PATCO Broadway station was built at the location of the PRR Broadway station, which was subsequently a P-RSL station. The PATCO Broadway station is now part of the Rand Transportation Center.
