How long has Brewster/Put Junction Yard been in its current configuration, and when was the riser dividing tracks 6-32 put in? I know the current shop was completed in 1987, but am wondering whether the yard configuration predates that, and if so, by how much. Thanks for any help.

The riser has been there for nearly a century, it is called riser as that is were steam connectors(steam riser) came out of ground for steam heated coaches.
It was first fed from round house powerhouse and later in 60's it was fed from current boiler house.
The basic configuration is been about same for at least 30 years, only thing that changed drastically is the shop tracks past engine house tracks.
the Fuel use to be were south lift is now with several locomotive layover tracks were current pit track is.
The yard office/ supt office was right of the riser where the current wash building sits. it was only a small 4 room office.
the Crew room and bunk room was part of old roundhouse and sat were current fuel tank sits.
the roundhouse was were now the crew parking lot is with round retaining wall.
