NEW YORK – Amtrak customers who have set a resolution to travel more, spend less and enjoy extra time with loved ones this year can take advantage of Amtrak’s latest buy one, get one sale for midweek travel within the Empire State. This sale is valid now through Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024 when traveling Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between today and Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024. Customers must use promo code V309 at booking.

“New York State has so much to offer as there’s an adventure waiting for you in every region and city whether you want to relax, explore, sightsee, taste or experience the bright lights,” said Amtrak Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Eliot Hamlisch. “Amtrak can take you there in comfort, and as a Central New York native who knows all about the beauty of the entire state, I look forward to seeing you onboard.”

In addition, customers can enjoy travel to/from New York City and Montreal, Canada on the Adirondack and to/from New York City and Burlington, Vt. via the Ethan Allen Express. Travelers and visitors can enjoy Amtrak’s amenities such as free Wi-Fi in the United States, the freedom to use phones and electronic devices at all times (no “airplane mode”), Café service and no middle seats. Customers also have the ability to travel with dogs and cats up to 20 pounds for a small fee in the U.S.

Amtrak’s new fare structure simplifies the ticket booking process and makes it easier and more affordable to travel with Amtrak. Fare sales are the lowest available fares and have limited availability.
