683 has hit a Chevy S-10 pickup at Rosemont St. in Haverhill, and derailed two cars. Everything looks upright on the train. There is a report of a single fatality, the driver of the truck that was hit.

As of the time of this post (7:47a EST Tuesday) NTSB has not indicated that it has sent a "go team" to the area.

Amtrak Downeaster service seems to have resumed. I'm not seeing any alerts for impacted service on the AmtrakNECAlerts twitter feed or Amtrak's Downeaster dedicated site.
