Algoma trip planned

Good morning,
I have a chance to do some customer visits in the Sault. I would like to ride the RDC and/or Agawa train. Any advice or thoughts? Does the Agawa train not run until August? Looks like the best option for the Via RDC is White River, overnight Sudbury, back to White River due to the hotels all being in Sudbury.

There are a few motels on Highway 17 in White River. Sudbury is about 300 km east from the Sault.
