A Question

Last evening (Wed. 6-16), I noticed an item regarding a special train to be
operated from New York to Beacon to Danbury and finally back to New
York on Metro North on September 12, 2004.
I went to check on something after putting this info on the NHRHTA site and it was gone.
I think we deserve an explanation as to why this item was removed and
no notice stated.
If this trip is indeed going to be operated, the users of this site deserve to
know about it, they might even want to buy a ticket and ride it.

The promoters of the trip asked me to remove it because they werent ready to make an official announcement yet. The person who posted the information did not have authority to do so... the trip will be formally announced soon once the details and plans are secure.

Sorry if they came across as Gestapo tactics.

actualy I posted it and it came from a MNCR official who asked to post it on boards.

<shrug>

No harm, no foul.

The formal announcement will come in a week or so, I'm told.
