Yep 5018 is back, and by the end of the weekend you guys will have the proof. It was on trains 657, 670, and 663 out of Port Jeff, and with another dead bird 506 which was also out for a while. 5018 also sports a new leslie 2 chime horn with a slightly higher pitched horn than the others.

That one crashed with a tractor-trailer in Center Moriches causing massive front end damage.

Just saw 506 in Hicksville track 2 as I was heading home from Broadway mall just 30 minutes ago.

On a side note: I'll be on vacation in Colorado visiting my uncle until next Saturday (just in case anyone notices I'm gone :wink: ) See everyone next week.

The 5018 was not involved with the tractor trailer boat in Center Moriches, that was the 5008, that is why it has the metal cover on the front.

5018 has that funky sounding horn
It has been on the south shore most of the summer.

Thanks for the correction Sean. I know 5018 had major problems, but I don't remember what.
