Anyone have pictures of a J.D. Fate (Fate-Root-Heath/Plymouth) model AL-1, 3-1/2 ton, two-foot gauge gas critter? Pics don't seem to exist. Doing an article on WW1 critters in France. Pine Creek RR at Allaire NJ has a J.D.Fate, and a Fate-Root-Heath, along with an identical Burton loco. These units are buried in a storage shed and I can't get to them to photograph them. This is what they look like: (I can find some artist's renditions, but few if any actual photos. )
