Looking to gain some information about this railroad, that I know very little about.

The B&M sold the branch to the new railroad company in 1972, right?

With the town and region mainly being a summer tourist draw, why did the railroad try to operate year-round?

Was the intent for it to be a heritage railroad with minor freight traffic, or a freight railroad with supplemental passenger excursions?

Who were the freight customers and where were they located and did the railroad close down when freight service disappeared?

Given the growth of the region since the railroad shut down, if the railroad were to be re-born, what would need to be done differently to ensure its success?
