If both the TWU and UTU walk, here's what we'll be left with running:

All Regional Rail will run (extra service on some lines).

Bus Routes 204, 310, 312 (the Cornwells Heights station parking shuttle) 314, and 316 (the LUCY) will operate. Those routes are run by contract operations, not with SEPTA personnel.

And yes, those are route numbers for the parking shuttle and the LUCY...they're only used internally.

Ok, latest from the rumor mill.... A Frankford operator I know said the Railroad mechanics are going to be walking out soon, as they like the conductors and engineers have no contract either. Apparantly they are not bound by the no strike clause that the trainmen are, and will be walking off the job soon. I didn't get a date out of him.

Can anyone confirm or dispel this?

I doubt it. My dad, who works at Overbrook Shop says that no strike clause includes rail mechs as well.

I believe the FRA imposed a no strike clause on all FRA systems.
