Weekend service returns July 3. This is mentioned on page 7 here: https://cdn.mbta.com/sites/default/file ... update.pdf

No mention of weekday schedule changes. At this point there still doesn’t seem to be the demand for it.

MBTA is trying a regional rail model with the assumption that the amount of rush hour riders will not return to what it was any time soon. This means more evenly spaced service throughout the day. Don't expect pre-COVID rush hour schedules until the passenger volume significantly increases requiring them to add trains.
