Bob has been helping our group Save Our Trains Michigan in the fight to save Michigan Amtrak service we need you to vote for Bob Alexander.

We can only vote into Congress those who represent our own state. Michigan's a little too far out of my constituency...

That is of course true, that you can only vote for your local reps.

But it seldom hurts to let them know of your support.

Truth be told, if you want to influence a politician not of your district, the best way is to join whatever professional/hobby/political action group supports your message. THEY have access.

YOUR words, otoh, as those of someone outside their district or state, for the most part go to the bit bucket.

Look at your Senators write mail form page. They very specifically say they reply only to folks with their State's address.
