I spotted the local in the north salem yard, but was not able to stop and check it out. In addition to the usual covered hoppers for Eastman Gelatine I noticed about 6 large open hopper cars, which I have never seen on the line before. I would have to assume that they were for Eastman as they are the only customer, but what was the cargo? Did anyone else see this? Thanks.

A little better description would help. What color were the cars, and what reporting marks? If they were LISX, SSEX, DJJX or similar marks I'd say they were scrap metal cars along for the ride but pertaining to Everett.
