From Fosters Daily Democrat, Saturday June 30th edition.
A twelve foot six inch trailer truck attempted to pass under the nine foot six inch Broadway street underpass Friday morning. The bridge carries Pan Am's freight main over Broadway, about one half mile east of the Dover Amtrak stop. There were no injuries, the trailer was destroyed. The accident did not affect Downeaster service, (though there was probably a slow order issued till the mess was extricated).
