tornado reported touchdown in brunswick, md

last night (9/17) a tornado had reportedly touched down in brunswick, md. i haven't heard exactly where but does anyone have information whether rail lines or the yard there was damaged??

Well, no damage anywhere near the tracks. It hit along Rt. 340 near Sheetz and McDonalds. the major damage ended up being closer to Burkettsville. Trains still ran through even with the cell making the tornados passing overhead.

well i get to see the damage for myself on Monday. My water route runs in Jefferson, Burkittsville, and Brunswick. thats good that no damage came to the railyards
