Most of my railfanning in South Jersey involves Conrail shared Assets, but on Sunday Jan 30 I caught Q417 at Cove Road in Pennsauken, a couple miles short of its terminus in Camden. Three engines (CSX, UP, and Conrail liveries) and 84 cars.

I saw that the b724 local was working the Junkyard in Clinton, Ma on mon/tues about 16:45 when I was driving home from work. It usually has two locos...on tues it only had one...

Kwf, did they only have one engine at Reisner scrap, or two locos altogether? Just wondering if the other one was up on the main. (push-pull).

There has been a severe locomotive shortage around here lately, which has made getting back to normal after the blizzard even harder. :(
