No, I understand what you're saying. It's an 8×10 color print, so I'll see if I can manage to get it scanned and reduced. Otherwise, I'd be glad to show it to anyone in person.

The unit, like I said, has a 7 just slapped on, and a white stripe through the "LEHIGH VALLEY" on the long hood. I'm just taking his notes as word, seeing I wasn't even a twinkle in his eye back then.

I'm looking to get pictures of the following units…hopefully, they are still in service…

That would be awesome! Can't wait to see it and thanks for sharing in advance!

I remember the RDG units got a masking tape "7" placed over the "3" on the GP-39-2s. Maybe someone figured out that they'd have two 7400 series if they also renumbered the LV units!!

Two Geeps on the RVL tonight, the 6:03 and the 6:23 departures from Newark...I'm used to seeing F40's pull up on track 5.

And an F40 led 2311 down the NJCL tonight....usually it's a Geep!

Hey Jersey EMT, was that you taking a picture of 5711 as it pulled into track 5 Tuesday eve?

I suspect that it was a cracked rail that requied a very slow move over it.

How is that fixed? How long does it take? Does all traffic stop for that whole time?

I wasn't originally going to head out tonight, but some nudging from a few people convinced me to. I'm glad I did. The full moon showed it's wrath tonight on the RVL. Late trains, and one or two anulled, not to mention equipment disasters and extras galore. Even some Multilevel I's. It was a wacked out night, but an awesome one.

Revenue Sets (Consists listed West to East)...
Eng: NJTR4114 / Cars: 6 / Cab: NJTR6030
Eng: NJTR4120 / Cars: 7 / Cab: NJTR5031
Eng: NJTR4122 / Cars: 6 / Cab: NJTR5006 (incl. 5003 & 5005 as coaches.)
Eng: NJTR4125 / Cars: 6 / Cab: NJTR6007
Eng: NJTR4206 / Cars: 6 / Cab: NJTR6015
Eng: NJTR4212 / Cars: 5 / Eng: NJTR4210 (Long hood East out on 4210)
Eng: NJTR4219 / Cars: 6 / Cab: NJTR6031

Multilevel I Test Train...Eng: NJTR4023 / Cars: 3 / Cab: NJTR7001
Non-Revenue/Rescue...NJT4302

It was a great sound with the 4212/4210 push-pull set. The crew didn't isolate either unit, so both were working at all times, including dynamics. Talk about push-pull. He picked the right time to show up, and by doing so, prt1607j managed to get a few killer shots off. Too bad Erik's video camera wasn't there.

The freight logs can be found in the same place as always: The Lehigh Line Thread

That was (is) a classic consist. As of 2 am, it was still in Raritan Yard. But the Yard Crew was "milling about" ready to make some moves....

5435 died in Cranford station. They took 5709,5439,5441,5711,5907 on Track #2. MM91 came out behind 5907 and pushed 5435 to Raritan.

Hence:
