On my way to Scranton from Wilkes-Bare today I stopped by the L&S engine house in Pittston. What was there but a bright yellow GE lettered for TCB. Does anyone know why this unit is on the L&S or who TCB is? I know the L&S has been busy the last month because I hear horns in downtown Wilkes-Barre much more frequently but can they really be busy enough to buy a road unit? Two views at:

TCB Stand for Texas Central Buisness Lines Corp. There reporting mark was added to the International regesterey on April 2001.

the unit you saw was part of a group of b23-7's that RMDI is reconditioning for the TCB RR. I was at RMDI's shop yesterday working on a Trackmobile and I saw the #203 in the shop, freshly painted, as well as 2 other units next to it that are getting worked on. The #203 has diamond plate tread on the steps near the cab. Looks sharp.

Thanks, they do look very sharp. Definately a treat to see one so far from home, and well lit as well.
