Last week was the September Service Change for local transit agencies in Central Puget Sound, and SOUND TRANSIT rolled out 1 new round trip on the rush-hour flow for each of the two SOUNDER lines, plus the City of Destiny, the first Seattle-Tacoma reverse commute. Great to see that happening. I rode SOUNDER 1505, now the 2nd afternoon Tacoma-bound trip, leaving at 4:20PM, and it was near standing room only. Have not seen 1503, which leaves even earlier, but people have been asking for earlier trains on the South Line for about 7 years now, so it might be in good shape. These new trains might win back some of the ridership they had during the I-5 Construction last month, as well as regular commuters that could not stand Crush Load and quit riding.

The Everett Line is now up to 3 Round Trips, no reverse commute, yet on that line. Hopefully more trains will be added next year.
