If you call it reopening, the difference between before and after will be a yardmaster (on 1st trick to start), a air line to each end of the yard, one more working track and possible a yard crew;
R 1 ,2 & 3
Class 1-6
Class 5 will be back in service as all others have been in use.
The purpose? Switching autos (which use to be done there before). Collinwood and Niagara Falls are too far and DeWitt and Frontier weren't designed to switch 86' cars.

As far as this mystery 'intermodal' yard, who knows............

Is CSX KIDDING us???

how can NF "TOO FAR" away??? CSX can run these ML straight SHOT to NF without any battles for rights of traffics. only fights they would have are against amtraks and 624 and 626 (or one of these) and local? what else? ML can easily get behind Amtrak Heading for NF or heading to Froniter from NF.

By the way, I had seen unusually parking lot for new vehicles off 290 near Deleware st (rd?) NO TRAINS for unloading, NO office for employers??? I am sure that their neighbor is NOT VERY VERY pleased with losing his tentat because of ALL NIGHT floodlights - way way tooo BRIGHT. What is it doing there??

One more crew and the train isn't any further than where it started.

Interesting, Tuesday afternoon, most didn't even know anything about it. No GN or anything posted. Late afternoon, all 9 tracks were full with two trains working at the same time.

SimTrains; where did that come from?
