Was called for Q417-28, on duty at 3PM on This date. I made a note of
some of the more interesting power in the engine facility. The units
of note included two Erie Mining Baldwin(VO1000?) switchers
eventually destined for southern NJ, and relettered and numbered SLRS
304 and 305(I believe); an ex Finger Lakes Geep, in full FGLK/"NYC"
colors(and the FGLK herald on the noses), but lettered on the side
for the Mass. Central RR; UP 5016, a brand new AC44CCTE, a pair of
BNSF H2 AC44CW's( forget the #'s, gonna have to start writing this
stuff down!) Albany Port RR SW-9(I believe) # 12, ex P&W U23B # 2210,
various leaser units, as well as the usual smattering of CR blue
units and normal CSX stuff. not earth shattering news, i realize, but
just thought you may be interested in what was laying around on
Tuesday afternoon amidst the rain drops.
