They are using the west leg of the wye inside the gate. I passed by tonight and saw at least one car on the curve inside the gate. There is one still standing on Fire Island in front of the Fair Harbor Fire Department. Croxley's Ale House in Farmingdale is adjacent to the LIRR main line. They have outdoor seating, and in the cool weather they open up the front so you can literally sit at the bar and watch the trains go by.
