Yes, as the Medford Branch will still exist and could technically become active at any time.

I have noticed a lack of activity or any rail cars at Unilever over the last couple months. Are they still getting service?

Does anyone know when the upgrades and addition to Rousselot's track, supposed to start? Last year the state awarded money to this as a transportation improvement project. If I remember correctly, this improvement will allow for more car storage and allow trains to be longer. With the longer trains and additional storage, they are aiming to cut down the number of trains needed.

Just wondering why they are looking to reduce the number of trains needed. If they build more storage would they still need to bring a switcher in to move cars in and out of store?

Is it because the downtown Peabody is is difficult to get through or that the more frequent train traffic to disruptful?
