Genesee G Gauge, (G-gauge)
and the Genesee & Ontario Model-N-Gineers. (N-gauge)
both recieved notice that their "lease" of rooms at the "Medley Centre"
(formally known as Irondequoit Mall) wont be renewed.
We will be out by August 30th.

Both clubs had free space at the mall for 3 years!
We had train displays, open to the public, at least once a week.

Thank you to Irondequoit mall for such a sweet deal! :-D
we loved it.

So if you want to go and see the displays, this is your last chance!
Genesee G Gauge will be open a few more Wednesday nights.
Im not sure about the schedule for the N-gaugers.
their website seems to be down.
(im not a member of the N-gauge club, so I cant speak for them..
but I am a member of Genesee G Gauge.)

here are some photos of the G-gauge display at the mall!
come see it while you can!

and, we will be looking for a new home!
please let me know if you have any ideas!
the big catch..it needs to be free.
or nearly so.
we dont have the cash for a monthy rent outlay.
We would like something where the public can see and enjoy the trains.
thats the whole point..promoting the hobby of model railroading to the public.

thanks!
Scot

Pity it has to go but I suppose the free space was the by-product of a decaying mall, with retail business in a death spiral. Hpefully this new "Meley Center" will be worth the trouble of your eviction and no property taxes for the next few years.

I wish you guys lots o' luck in finding a new space. Please post when you have a new home for the layout.
