Does any one konw whats wrong with the St. lawrence & Atlantic Rm1's 803, 804 and 806?

:( I retrospect,their use was not a good choice by parent firm,G&W. Couple this with the conversions being done "South of the Border",I think,and the slugs just couldn't cope with the cold and wet weather. Almost like the Mexican "technicians"(?) that came up to try to get a little more life out of the M-420's in 2000! Slugs reminded me of English cars from the 50's and 60's;cold and damp,the electrical/fuel systems became balky, Bud :(
