Red Line delays July 19, 2005

Anyone know what happened on the Red Line yesterday (Tuesday 7/19/05)? I had all the South Shore commuters telling stories this morning of 2-2.5 hour trips home yesterday in the early rush hour (3:30-5:00).

beats me, i sure wasn't on the red line yesterday

but someone else here at this board might EXACTLY know what happens, he carries around a scanner and even scouts the crews (and even wears a T hat, some T fanatic)

I've been pretty busy today to post this, but a coworker found out this morning (off of boston.com no less) that there was a heat kink on the Red Line in the North Quincy-Wollaston area which caused the headache yesterday.
