Rail-fanning the Moscow Excursions

I am thinking of getting tickets for one of the Moscow Excursions in October and then photographing the train the following day (or day before). What suggestions do people have as far as doing this?

It's a tough chase if you don't know the streets. Ask the rangers for directions to Mertle st. There are usually people there that you can fallow from there. Or print a map and drive the route before hand. I have been lost more then once.
